About The Ivy Bath

A London-heritage brasserie in a Georgian Bath banking hall

The Ivy Bath Brasserie & Garden opened in October 2017 at 39 Milsom Street, in what was formerly a NatWest bank. The building's Georgian heritage is preserved throughout -- the original high ceilings of the banking hall now form the dramatic centrepiece of the main dining room, decorated in the signature Ivy palette of blues and whites with an ornate ceiling inspired by Josiah Wedgwood pottery.

It is one of more than 30 restaurants in The Ivy Collection, the group that grew from The Ivy, West Street, London -- originally founded in 1917 and one of the UK's most famous restaurants. The Bath brasserie followed The Ivy Clifton Brasserie in Bristol (opened August 2016) as the Collection expanded across the UK.

The restaurant serves all-day from 9am, covering breakfast, brunch, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. A first-floor cocktail bar is available for private hire, and the garden terrace offers al fresco dining with covered areas and heaters for year-round use.
