Menupedia is a static reference site. We try to collect as little information about you as possible.

Menupedia is a static website. We do not require you to create an account, and there is no login. When you visit a page, our hosting provider may collect standard server-log information (IP address, user agent, requested URL, response status, timestamp). These logs are used to operate the site and detect abuse, and are typically retained for a limited period by the host.
We use Google Tag Manager and may use a privacy-respecting analytics setup to understand which restaurants are popular. We do not sell your personal information.
Menupedia is supported by advertising. We use third-party advertising companies — including Google, through the Google AdSense program — to serve ads when you visit the site. These companies may use information about your visits to Menupedia and other websites (not including your name, address, email address, or telephone number) in order to provide advertisements about goods and services that may interest you.
For more on how Google uses data when you use our partners' sites or apps, see Google's "How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services" page.
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. On Menupedia, cookies may be set by:
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of personalized ad cookies using the links in the Advertising section. Blocking cookies will not stop you from reading Menupedia.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another region that requires consent for advertising cookies, we (and our advertising partners, including Google) will request consent before serving personalized ads, in line with applicable law. If you are a California resident, you may opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA by adjusting the ad-cookie choices described above.
If you email us at hello@menupedia.us, we'll see your email address and whatever you wrote. We keep that correspondence to do our job (responding to you, fixing the site). We don't sell email addresses or add them to marketing lists.
Menupedia is a general-audience reference. It is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Restaurant pages link to the brands' official websites and may link to other reference sources. Once you leave Menupedia, the destination site's own privacy policy applies — we don't control how those sites handle your data.
If you live in a jurisdiction with a comprehensive privacy law (such as the EU, UK, California, Colorado, Virginia, etc.) and believe we hold personal data about you, you may contact us to ask what we have and request its deletion. Given that Menupedia is a static site without user accounts, in most cases we will hold nothing identifiable about you beyond temporary server logs.
If we change this policy materially, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, surface the change on the homepage.
