About Quaglino's

London's grande brasserie — open since the 1930s, redesigned by Terence Conran.

Quaglino's was founded by Giovanni Quaglino in 1929 at its current Bury Street address in St. James's. Through the 1930s and 1940s it became one of London's most fashionable dining rooms, frequented by royalty, socialites and politicians. In 1993, Sir Terence Conran led a celebrated redesign that reinvented the space as a grand brasserie for the modern era — a vast, sunken dining room with sweeping staircases, ornate columns and an art-deco sensibility that remains intact today.

Now part of The Evolv Collection, Quaglino's continues to operate as one of London's landmark dining-and-entertainment venues: Modern British cuisine, a seven-nights-a-week live music programme, an award-winning cocktail bar (the Q Bar), and a full private-dining offer for groups from small boardroom dinners to exclusive full-venue hire.
