About Lamplight Lounge

The Pixar gastropub that replaced the Cove Bar

Lamplight Lounge opened on June 23, 2018 as part of the transformation of the former Paradise Pier area into Pixar Pier. It replaced the beloved Cove Bar, which had been a popular adult hang inside the park for years. The new concept kept the waterfront bar vibe and elevated it with a full dining room, a Pixar art installation covering the walls with pieces contributed by actual Pixar artists, and a cocktail program designed around specific Pixar films.

The restaurant occupies two levels: the ground-floor main dining room (reservations required, full brunch/lunch/dinner menu) and the upstairs Boardwalk Dining walk-up lounge (no reservation, shareables and full bar). Both spaces offer views of Paradise Bay and the Pixar Pal-A-Round wheel.

The menu leans gastropub -- elevated pub fare with California ingredients, strong seafood representation, and a vegetarian and plant-based section. The cocktail program is the most distinctive in the Disneyland Resort, with every drink named after and designed around a Pixar film or character.
