Pan-Asian dining at Lakeside -- fully halal, 200 covers, waterside terrace.

Coco Asia opened in March 2022 as the second venue from Coco Restaurants, the London-based hospitality group. The first site is Coco London. Coco Asia occupies Unit 1A Broadwalk at Lakeside Shopping Centre in West Thurrock, Essex -- a 200-cover venue with an outdoor terrace overlooking the water at Lakeside.

The kitchen is headed by chefs with experience from prestigious establishments and takes inspiration from the ancient spice route -- blending Japanese, Korean, Turkish, Indian and wider Asian flavours into a single cohesive a la carte menu. The restaurant is fully halal-certified with no alcohol on the premises; the bar programme is built entirely from non-alcoholic cocktails, mocktails and de-alcoholised wines crafted with premium ingredients.

The venue also features the Opium Den, a dedicated shisha lounge section with waterfront views, live DJs, saxophonists and table-side entertainment on weekend evenings. Private hire of the full venue is available for events up to 200 covers.
