Over decades the deli earned a devoted local following, recognized particularly for its famous Half Loaf sub — a generous sandwich piled high on a half loaf of their own Italian bread.

In 1993, the second generation took the helm when Peter and Karen Sementilli assumed leadership, expanding the imported product offerings and adding new baked specialties while preserving the traditions that built the business. That commitment to tradition carried forward in 2020 when Anthony Sementilli became the third generation of his family to run Capri Imports.
