About these prices. Black Rifle Coffee operates across three distinct channels with three different price structures: (1) retail shops — board-priced like a Starbucks, varying by city; (2) RTD cans & grocery-shelf bags — set by each retailer (Walmart, Kroger, Target, H-E-B, Publix and convenience-store chains all price a little differently); and (3) direct from blackriflecoffee.com — usually the highest single-bag price, but with subscriber discounts that bring the Coffee Club below grocery. The figures shown are May 2026 national averages. Confirm at your local shop, grocery store or the BRCC online store before ordering.

BRCC sits between Starbucks and Dunkin' on shop drinks (close to Starbucks on lattes, more expensive than Dunkin' across the board), is broadly even with Peet's on specialty drinks at a fraction of Peet's footprint, and is cheaper than Starbucks on every bagged-blend SKU. The big differentiator isn't price — it's the RTD program (much wider grocery distribution than Peet's or Dutch Bros) and the Coffee Club subscription model. Comparison drinks: Caramel Macchiato (BRCC, SBUX), Caramel Signature Latte (DD), Caramel Cloud Macchiato (Peet's), Caramelizer (Dutch Bros).

Dietary & allergen guide

Vegan, dairy-free & lower-sugar picks

BRCC isn't a heavy food chain, so most allergen questions are about drinks and RTD cans. Alt-milks (oat, almond, coconut) are stocked at the retail shops and swap into any drink for ~$0.65–$0.85. Soy is not commonly stocked. All BRCC RTD cans except Black contain dairy (cream); the Black 11 oz can is the only zero-dairy RTD option. Most bagged blends are inherently vegan (just roasted coffee beans).

Cross-contact possible at the shops. Confirm with the barista if you have a serious allergy — milk steaming wands and chocolate sauces share preparation areas. Read the can label for exact RTD ingredients.

  • Vegan-friendly: brewed coffee, Americano, all whole-bean and ground bags (black, no milk), RTD Black
  • Dairy-free latte: any retail-shop drink swapped to oat / almond / coconut milk (+$0.65–$0.85)
  • Zero-sugar option: Black brewed, Americano, RTD Black, AK-47 espresso pulled straight
  • Lowest-calorie picks: RTD Black (~5 cal), brewed black (~5 cal), Americano (~10 cal)
  • Highest-caffeine items: Caffeinated as F*** Espresso bag, Coffee + Energy 16 oz can (~200 mg), Dirty Chai
  • Gluten-free food: oatmeal bowl, bakery items vary — confirm at the shop

How to actually buy Black Rifle Coffee

Channel choice

Three channels, three prices

The same 12 oz bag of AK-47 Espresso can cost $14.99 at Walmart, $17.99 on blackriflecoffee.com, and $15.99/mo via Coffee Club. If you'll drink the same blend monthly, the Coffee Club is the cheapest reliable option.

RTD pack math

12-packs beat singles by ~40%

A single RTD can is $3.99 in convenience; the 12-pack works out to ~$2.25 per can on Amazon and BRCC.com. If you're a daily drinker, the 12-pack is the right SKU.

Where to find Black Rifle Coffee

BRCC operates roughly 30 corporate retail coffee shops, concentrated in Texas, Tennessee, Utah, Florida, Georgia, Oklahoma and the Mountain West. The first shop opened in 2018 in San Antonio, Texas, and the corporate roastery is headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah. The retail footprint is small and intentional — BRCC's growth has been through the RTD can program and Coffee Club subscription rather than shop expansion.

Outside the retail shops, you can find BRCC in three nationwide channels: RTD cans at most grocery, convenience and gas-station chains; bagged blends at Walmart, Kroger, Target, H-E-B, Publix and Meijer; and direct-to-consumer shipments through the Coffee Club at blackriflecoffee.com.

About Black Rifle Coffee

A veteran-founded coffee company built on three channels — retail, RTD and subscription.

Black Rifle Coffee Company was founded in 2014 by Evan Hafer, a former U.S. Army Special Forces (Green Beret) NCO who spent two decades roasting coffee in his garage between deployments. The company started as a small online subscription roastery shipping bags of beans to military, law-enforcement and outdoorsman customers, and grew through a sequence of viral 2010s marketing moments into a multichannel coffee brand.

Today BRCC operates across three channels: roughly 30 retail coffee shops (concentrated in Texas, Tennessee, Utah, Florida, Georgia and Oklahoma), a nationwide ready-to-drink can program sold at most U.S. grocery and convenience chains, and a direct-to-consumer Coffee Club subscription for whole-bean and ground bags. The company became publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker BRCC in February 2022 following a SPAC merger. Founder Evan Hafer remains executive chairman; a meaningful share of the workforce, including the roasting team and retail-shop staff, are military veterans, reservists or first responders.

Common questions

Black Rifle Coffee menu — frequently asked questions

Quick answers to the questions people most commonly ask about BRCC's pricing, RTD cans, signature blends, retail shops and Coffee Club subscription.

How much is Black Rifle Coffee?

At the retail shops, a Small brewed coffee runs about $3.49, a Medium latte about $5.49, and a Large frozen mocha about $6.49 (May 2026 averages). On the online / grocery side, a 12 oz bag of whole-bean signature blend (AK-47 Espresso, Just Black, Murdered Out, etc.) is typically $16.99–$18.99, a single 11 oz RTD espresso can is $3.99, and a Coffee Club subscription starts at $14.99/month for one bag. Pricing varies by market and channel — grocery is usually a touch cheaper than the BRCC online store, retail shops sit between the two on a per-cup basis.

Is Black Rifle Coffee veteran-owned?

Yes. Black Rifle Coffee Company is veteran-founded and veteran-led. The company was founded in 2014 by Evan Hafer, a former U.S. Army Special Forces (Green Beret) NCO who served multiple combat tours. A significant share of BRCC's workforce — including roasters, retail-shop staff and corporate hires — are military veterans, reservists or first responders, and the company runs a stated hiring commitment around the veteran community. BRCC became publicly traded on the NYSE under the ticker BRCC in 2022 following a SPAC merger, but the founder and core executive team remain veterans of the U.S. military.

How much is a BRCC RTD can?

A single 11 oz Black Rifle ready-to-drink (RTD) espresso can — Vanilla Bomb, Hazelnut, Caramel, Mocha, Salted Caramel, Black, etc. — typically retails for $3.99 in convenience stores and roughly $3.49–$3.79 in grocery as of May 2026. A 12-pack runs about $24–$27 (~$2 per can), and the larger 16 oz Coffee + Energy hybrid can is about $3.49 single. The RTD line is the most widely distributed BRCC product — you'll find it at most major grocery chains, gas stations, and convenience stores nationwide, well outside the retail-shop footprint.

Where is Black Rifle Coffee located?

BRCC operates roughly 30 corporate retail coffee shops across the U.S., concentrated in Texas, Tennessee, Utah, Florida, Georgia, Oklahoma and the Mountain West. The first shop opened in 2018 in San Antonio, Texas, and the corporate roastery is headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah. Beyond the retail shops, the brand has a much larger national footprint through (a) the RTD can program, sold at most major grocery, convenience and gas-station chains, (b) the online store and Coffee Club subscription, shipping nationwide, and (c) grocery-shelf placement of the bagged blends at chains like Walmart, Kroger, Target, H-E-B, Publix and Meijer. Use the BRCC store locator at blackriflecoffee.com for exact retail-shop addresses.

What blends does Black Rifle have?

The core BRCC blend lineup centers on AK-47 Espresso (a dark espresso blend for milk drinks), Just Black (smooth medium-dark drip), Murdered Out (extra-dark), Silencer Smooth (light-medium, citrus-leaning), Beyond Black (dark, heavy-bodied black-coffee blend), Caffeinated as F*** Espresso (high-caffeine Robusta blend), Tactisquatch (dark Latin American), Patriot Blend (medium-dark caramel/nut), Old Glory (medium roast for drip / pour-over) and Loyalty Roast (medium-dark, grocery channel). Single-origin rotating coffees from Colombia, Ethiopia and Honduras appear periodically through the online store. Every blend is sold as whole bean, ground or K-Cup. For exact roast level and tasting notes per blend see the bagged-blends section above.

Is Black Rifle cheaper than Starbucks?

It depends on the channel. On retail-shop drinks, BRCC is generally $0.20–$0.60 cheaper than Starbucks like-for-like: a Medium BRCC latte runs ~$5.49 vs. a Grande Starbucks Caffè Latte at ~$5.45 (roughly even), and a BRCC frozen mocha at ~$6.49 vs. a Grande Starbucks Mocha Frappuccino at ~$6.95. On whole-bean bags, BRCC is typically $1–$3 cheaper per 12 oz than equivalent Starbucks-branded grocery beans ($16.99 AK-47 vs. ~$18.99 Starbucks Espresso Roast). On RTD cans, BRCC ($3.99 single) is roughly even with Starbucks Doubleshot Espresso ($3.79–$4.29). The biggest difference is footprint, not price — Starbucks has 16,000+ U.S. stores; BRCC has ~30 shops plus heavy grocery / online distribution.

Is BRCC stock the same as the coffee company?

Yes. NYSE: BRCC is the publicly traded stock of Black Rifle Coffee Company — the same legal entity that sells the coffee. BRCC went public on the New York Stock Exchange in February 2022 via a SPAC (special-purpose acquisition company) merger with SilverBox Engaged Merger Corp I. The corporate parent, BRC Inc., trades under the ticker BRCC. The stock and the coffee company are not separate — buying the stock is investing in the operating coffee business, including the retail shops, RTD line, grocery distribution and the Coffee Club subscription. Founder Evan Hafer remained executive chairman after the IPO. Stock prices and operating results are unrelated to retail menu pricing.

What is AK-47 Espresso blend?

AK-47 Espresso is Black Rifle Coffee's signature espresso roast — a dark, syrupy, chocolate-forward blend designed specifically to be pulled as espresso and built into milk drinks like lattes, mochas and macchiatos. It's a dark roast with notes of dark chocolate, dried fruit and roasted nut, low acidity and a heavy body — meant to cut cleanly through milk rather than be sipped straight. It's the espresso blend used at every BRCC retail shop for the lattes and macchiatos on the menu, and it's sold as whole bean, ground and K-Cup in 12 oz bags (~$16.99–$18.99) and 5 lb bulk bags (~$54.99). The name is an extension of BRCC's military / firearms-coded brand lineup; functionally it's a standard dark espresso blend.

Does Black Rifle Coffee have food?

The retail shops serve a small but full breakfast menu — sausage / bacon / egg / cheese croissants (~$5.49–$6.49), breakfast burritos (~$5.99–$6.99), avocado toast (~$5.99–$6.99), oatmeal bowls (~$4.49) and a bakery case (muffins, cookies, croissants at $2.99–$3.49). Food is retail-shop only — it's not part of the RTD or grocery channels. The lineup is closer in scope to a Dutch Bros or Peet's than a Starbucks (which has a much larger food program), and food is typically served all day at the shops that offer it. Confirm availability at your local shop — not every BRCC location prepares the full breakfast lineup.

How does the Coffee Club subscription work?

The Black Rifle Coffee Club is BRCC's direct-to-consumer subscription. You pick (a) the number of 12 oz bags shipped per month — 1, 2, 3 or a 5 lb bulk option — and (b) the blend(s) — AK-47 Espresso, Just Black, Murdered Out, Beyond Black, Patriot, Silencer Smooth, etc. — and (c) the grind (whole bean, drip grind, espresso grind, or K-Cup). Pricing starts at $14.99/month for 1 bag (subscriber save ~10% off retail), $27.99/mo for 2 bags, $40.99/mo for 3 bags, and $49.99/mo for the 5 lb bulk tier. Two or more bags ships free. Subscriptions can be paused, skipped or cancelled at any time from the BRCC account dashboard at no fee, and you can swap blends month-to-month.
